Strength In Community takes a holistic approach to helping the community. Our goal is to turn the neighborhood of Ventura Village, Minneapolis, into a "Blue Zone," one of several places on the globe where people enjoy a sense of belonging and live the longest and happiest lives.
Together, We Are Stronger
Ventura Village, Minneapolis is a high crime, gang affected neighborhood that struggles with even minor improvement projects like litter removal and traffic reduction. Yet the majority of residents here dream of a safer, healthier place to live. Strength In Community's mission is to make that dream a reality, partly by creating a sense of belonging and pride in the neighborhood through group projects and outings with at-risk kids.
